Vietnam War Slang Series. Panel 6 of 26 – F is for F4.

F4. Vietnam War painting by artist Oliver Smith. Spray paint on canvas

The F4 Phantom was the primary air war workhorse of the Vietnam War, they were used for fighting MIGs, targeting bridges and other strategic targets and provided fire support. I’ve read a bit on the F4’s pilots war stories and I believe that they all had balls of steel.
